July 2021 News

The new ringing floor above the beautifully refurbished vestry

Lisa Overton, Secretary of the Friends of St Mary’s, provides our latest news round-up:

We are hopeful that all restrictions will finally end on 19th July so that we will be able to hold our Annual General Meeting and Choral Evensong in St Mary’s on Sunday 25th July, so we encourage as many of you to attend as possible. We may even be able to hear the new bells.

The AGM will be held at 5.30pm, and Choral Evensong will follow at 6pm.

Further events, we hope, will follow in the late summer and autumn, so please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page.

  • Saturday 28th August: Pimms Tent at the Hawkesbury Show
  • Sunday 19th December: FOSM Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

We are delighted that we are now able to hold services in St Mary’s again. Please bring masks when you come to church and obey the social distancing rules. Our sidesmen will help to keep everything in order.
