From the M4 (7 miles)
Take junction 18 on the M4 and turn north sign posted to Stroud, Tetbury and Cirencester. Follow the A46 for 6 miles, going straight over the Old Sodbury traffic lights by The Cross Hands. Turn left after Petty France, following signs to Hawkesbury Upton. Drive through the village until you reach the old drovers’ pond on your left. Turn left immediately before the pond and follow the narrow lane (single track road with passing places) down the hill. The church will appear on the left. There is limited free parking immediately in front of the lych gate. For special events and at busy times, further parking will be made available.
From the M5 ( 8 miles)
Take junction 14 and turn east following signs to Wotton-under-Edge on the B4509. After 2 miles, at the roundabout turn left to Charfield and Wotton-under-Edge, and drive through Charfield. At the next roundabout, turn right to Kingswood. At the T-junction in Kingswood, turn right. After 400 yards, take the left fork to Hillesley (passing the Spar shop on your left), follow this road into Hillesley and at the T-junction in the village turn right towards Hawkesbury Upton. Climb the hill and pass the Somerset monument. Just as you enter the village, the drovers’ pond is on your right. Turn right and follow the narrow lane (single track with passing places) down the hill. The church will appear on the left. There is limited free parking immediately in front of the lych gate. For special events and at busy times, further parking will be made available.
